1. Acceptance of Terms

By logging in with your Torn API key and using Torn Companion Redux ("the app", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not submit your API key and do not use the app.

This app is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Torn.com.

2. Description of Service

Torn Companion Redux is a companion app that was built initially as a dashboard to test how to use API calls and as my understanding grew features grew around it! This has become a personal platform for my ideas so the app will continue to grow in number of available features as they are developed but it is meant to be a playground for projects and community suggestions.

The app uses a lot of API calls intended to give it a live feel and is capped to use a max of 90 per min to ensure that the app does not exceed the 100 limit. Keep this is mind when using the app alongside other things using your keys. We store nonpersonal data such as; item price, stock prices, ect that helps drive the functionality of the app overall and limit API calls for public information.

The app is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.

3. Torn API Key Disclosure

How your API key is handled by the app:

You can revoke your API key at any time from your Torn API preferences page. Revoking your key will not delete your account in this app — see the Privacy Policy for deletion requests.

4. User Responsibilities

•You are responsible for the security of your own Torn account and for keeping your API key private.
•You agree to provide only a key that you are authorized to use.
•You agree not to use the app to harass, spam, or defraud other Torn players.
•You agree to comply with Torn.com's own rules and terms while using data obtained through this app.

5. Prohibited Activities

•Automated scraping of the app, reverse engineering, or attempting to access data belonging to other users.
•Abusing the Torn API through this app in ways that would violate Torn's own rate limits or terms.
•Attempting to bypass authentication, admin controls, or rate limits built into the app.

6. Availability and Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of data, or that the app will be free of errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from your use of the app, from downtime, from data inaccuracy, or from loss of your Torn account resulting from API key compromise.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
